Worship at St Paul’s is a blend of old and new. Every Sunday is a different worship experience. From the timeless sounds of the pipe organ to the more modern band we are committed to communicating the good news of Jesus Christ.
On the 1st and 3rd Sunday's of the month we have contemporary worship that expresses our Lutheran identity in a fresh way. In this worship service we sing songs from various sources and our pastor doesn't wear his traditional gown.
On the 2nd and 4th Sunday’s of the month we follow a more traditional style of worship. in this service we follow a set liturgy and sing hymns.
In all our worship services you will discover there are a number of things that are important to us:
- Singing hymns and songs
- Coming before our God in a time of confession and hearing the pastor speak Christ's words of forgiveness to us.
- Hearing God’s word spoken; both in the readings and in the pastor’s message
- Praying to God as a church
- Celebrating Holy Communion
- Receiving God’s blessing to go out into the world and be the light of Christ.
We have various opportunities for you to use your gifts in the worship service. If you are a musician and would like to be part of a band please contact our church office.
